Happy Spooky Wednesday to all of our favorite spooky friends! This week, Kala continues the Barry Taff discussion with the investigation story of the Doris Bither Case, better known as The Entity haunting. A young woman with four small kids, Doris Bither already had to handle the stress of getting by as a single mom, but that stress was amplified by a near-constant haunting in her Culver City home. Was this a poltergeist or telekinesis brought on by pressures of life as a woman in the 70s? And Brittany discusses (at minute 46) Ye Olde Salutation Inn in Nottingham, UK. Known as The Sal, this building is beautiful, really old, and haunted. The caves beneath the Inn leave us with burning questions such as: Why are Roman soldiers running through a basement? Is the little girl friends with the pirate? And why do they put “Ye Olde” on so many things in the UK?
