Happy Spooky Wednesday, dear listeners! We are in the second week of True Crime January 2024, and we are covering "the most diabolical crime ever committed in Savannah," the Savannah Axe Murders, sometimes known as the Gribble House murders. This triple homicide caused widespread panic in the city, and it quickly became national news. After a LARGE string of (bullsh*t) arrests in Savannah, they finally caught the killer. We wish that was the end of the story, but sadly, this is a messy, terrible chapter in U.S. history. The story goes so much deeper than that. It is no wonder spirits have stuck around the property when there are so many pieces that remain unresolved.
Content warning: Racism, murder, and descriptions of death
