In this episode of Legally Blissed Conversations, we are joined by Diana Schimmel, a family law attorney and partner at the female-founded law firm of Martine, Katz Scanlon & Schimmel, P.A. Diana exclusively practices family law with her partners and serves clients in the Greater Philadelphia, South, and Central New Jersey areas. While she works to reasonably "divorce" clients and helps them navigate that process, the other side of her practice is family-building through adoption and surrogacy work.
Diana wants all young female attorneys to know that practicing law isn't always easy, but it's worth it. She is a fighter and a staunch feminist who doesn't believe in paying the "female" or "mommy" tax. Her dream is to have total equality for herself and other females in our field.
