What about the kids?! Divorce not only has an impact on the couple but a major impact on children. We took a deep dive into the use of Child Protective Services as a tool during a toxic divorce. In an earlier episode, Our Children Our Watching, we discussed divorce from a children’s voice, and children really hate to be in the middle of conflict, and sometimes parents need to be aware of the ramifications of using CPS improperly.

Our guest today is Lakesiha Adeniyi-Dorsey. Lakeshia is the Principal Attorney at K. Adeniyi Law, APC. She is seeking justice on behalf of families by representing parents in CPS investigations and in Juvenile /Children's Court. She is also an organizer at BMM - The Black Mothers March on the White House is a coalition of black-led organizations that have been involved in the struggle to rescue our children from the custody of the State.
