Every pastor you know hates the tithing sermon. And if they don't, you probably are tired of that pastor. Money has come to represent a part of our lives we rarely talk about, we absolutely don't talk about it with each other, and as a result, we probably don't talk about it with Jesus either.
But what if it wasn't? What if we saw money -and all that it represents - as belonging to God, as part of what God is unfolding in history? Would that change? How would our discipleship change if we were more comfortable giving even our finances to God?
