Jack Nash – John Charles (Chip) Parsons – Jesse Reggie Carlisle – John (Beta) GM- Tod Foley Nash and Reggie watch from the tunnel as hundreds of rat-men mill about below in the cavern. There is blue dancing light that brightens the cavern that appears to be electrical in nature and seems to be the source of the ozone smell. Chip, who has been stripped down to his skivvies, is being led before the corpulent Rat King. There’s a pit in the center of the cavern. Reggie, remembering that they’re in a dream world, uses his lucid dreaming ability to create rattraps for all of the rats. Each trap has a shiny rat-man sized crown on it. Chaos ensues as some of the rats grab at the crowns becoming trapped or killed. Reggie uses the confusion to climb down from the tunnel and goes to help free the rats. Supposedly he has a plan. Nash stays on overwatch. Chip is able to intimidate the King with his superb acting skills and he is able to get his gun back. Flush with success, Chip gives the King a two-handed high five. As he does so the guards form a circle around the pair and the King drops into a fighting stance. It seems Chip has unwittingly initiated a fight to the death. Realizing his mistake he begins pantomiming and gesturing to his phone, the King acquiesces, thinking that it’s a weapon and chooses a sharp stick for himself. Chip flashes the King with the flashlight temporarily “stunning” him and then slides the phone at him while drawing his pistol. Unfortunately his shot only grazes the King and he makes a break for it. When the gun goes off all of the traps disappear. At that point Nash begins shooting trying to spring Reggie. Chip continues running while firing wildly over his shoulder with the King and his guards in hot pursuit. Reggie tries to bowl over a few of the rats and goes down. Nash is able to draw a bead on the Rat King and snaps off a shot hitting him in the face dropping him but not killing him. Chip and Reggie hear the sounds of a woman screaming for help coming from the pit. Nash is able to throw some rope to Reggie and he lowers it down the pit and out scrambles Joan Marlow. Chip scrambles up to Nash while he lays down suppressing fire for Joan and Reggie. As the guards climb up towards the tunnel, Chip grabs a flashlight and shines it at them while yelling and surprisingly enough it freezes them. Reggie is again able to use his lucid dreaming to open a pit at the base of the wall where the tunnel is, trapping many rats but he pushed into the pit where Joan was. http://daytrippersrpg.com/ https://www.birdscoffeecompany.com/coffees/legends-of-tabletop-legendary-brew Use Code Legends10 to get 10% off your order Theme music created by Brett Miller http://www.brettmillermusic.net/
