Venari Hallerman (Rogue Trader) – John Kynnoch (Navigator) – Jesse Jarnan Morgun (Missionary) – Jon Emmaus Kore (Void Master) – Kevin GM – Neil After securing the Heretics Bane, the command crew begins making their way to see Rogue Trader Zarkov. When they exit the ship they are met by the harbormaster, Colanus Sacaris. Venari tries to pump him for information but the only thing he can get out of him is that Zarkov is either grumpy, drunk or both on any given day. Not to be deterred, Venari calls Orros, his seneschal. Orros, speaking frankly, says that Zarkov is not a big fan of either Venari or the Heretics Bane (not really surprising). Its is also interesting to note that Zarkov appears to be afraid of the warp and Orros suggests trying to leverage that when trying to explain things to Zarkov. Always trying to work all of the angles, Venari stops off at a bar and acquires two very fine bottles of amasec. One bottle for himself of course but the other as a peace offering to Zarkov. They are met at Zarkov’s receiving chamber by his right-hand, Salius Wright. A brief exchange ensues and they are ushered into Zarkov’s chambers. Salius gives Zarkov the amasec and he pops the top and just chugs it from the bottle. He’s surly as Venari tries to lay on the charm, berating everyone in the party. Kynnoch explains that they hit an uncharted pocket of warp energies right near Footfall that threw us off course. Zarkov is concerned and becomes visibly agitated. He wants the area mapped and Kynnoch offers to do so. He also offers Kynnoch a job and Kynnoch refuses, the meeting goes down hill from there. Venari and Emmaus go drinking with Orros while Kynnoch goes back to the ship to work on the “map”. Jarnan on the other hand, goes to the temple on Footfall to pray away the sins of his crewmates (good luck). While he’s praying a man sits down next to him and tries to strike up a conversation. He questions Jarnan’s faith and that of the crew. The man offers that perhaps they should work together to turn all glory to the Emperor. He leaves a data slate with Jarnan and leaves. When Jarnan turns it on it shows the symbol of the Inquisition before fading away. Kynnoch finishes the map and turns it into Zarkov and the Heretics Bane gets a pass……..for now. https://www.birdscoffeecompany.com/coffees/legends-of-tabletop-legendary-brew Use Code Legends10 to get 10% off your order Theme music created by Brett Miller http://www.brettmillermusic.net/
