It was all about the final four in gaelic football this weekend. Mohill and St. Mary's will meet in two weeks time in the Senior County Final but we'll be getting reaction from all the games played over the weekend as well as looking over the local soccer action from opening weekend. We start with a look at the results (0:26) of the entire weekend across the two Minor (2:11) football championship finals, Senior (3:27) & Intermediate (4:28) gaelic football championship semi finals and Ladies Football featuring at Senior (7:06) and Junior (9:50) championship level. We'll also be taking a look at the soccer scene at local (10:36) and national level with Niall Morahan's red card (14:42), Dearbhaile Beirne's title challenge with Peamount United (16:16) and Muireann Devaney's winner for Sligo Rovers WU17 (16:50). After the GAA games played over the weekend we hear from Fenagh's Donal Wrynn (17:41) and Joe Flynn (20:07) while Mohill's Keith Beirne (24:31) and Liam Keenan (26:55) share their delight at securing their final place. From the other Semi Final we hear from player's on both sides, last year's winning captain Conor Dolan (33:23) and Carrick stalwart Jonathan Cassidy (30:14) as well as their respective managers Sean Boylan (36:06) and Denis Connerton (39:33). On the ladies side of the sport Ballinamore secured their berth with a hard fought victory over Kiltubrid on Sunday morning. Kiltubrid's Sinead Tighe (47:04) spoke to us about her pride at their performance against the favourites while we were joined by Katie Duignan (49:10) and Conor Harte (51:12). At Intermediate level Carrigallen ran out of road chasing the concession of 3 early goals to Annaduff. We spoke to players Gary Reynolds (54:51) and Sean McNabola (60:03) as well as their bosses Brian Doyle (62:48) & Karl Foley (65:43). In the other side of the final four draw, Gortletteragh needed extra time to see off the challenge of Dromahair. A battered and bloodied Cian Clinton (70:35) of Dromahair and Francie Flynn (74:40) gave the players perspective while Padraig Clancy (76:35) and Paul McGuire (79:21) also give the sideline view on the game. Finally we hear from Thomas McDonald (81:31), player / manager of Manor Rangers after his side drew their first game in the opening weekend of the Sligo Leitrim & District Super League.
