When someone brings up the topic of people pleasing, do you immediately think “yep, that describes me!”? To an extent we all ‘people please’ from time to time, be it saying “yes” to something which benefits someone else, and not us, or consistently agreeing to a commitment which really isn’t in our best interest.

People pleasing isn’t synonymous with doing something wrong, but when your needs are knocked to the bottom of the pile time and time again, your tendency to say “yes” all the time may need to be revisited.

In today’s episode of Let’s Discuss podcast we address the issue of people pleasing, how it crops up in our own lives, and how we try to safeguard ourselves from people pleasing tendencies which have a negative impact.
