Vittorio Carli was called a punk rock poet by a Field Recordings reviewer because of his ”in-your-face-
anti-establishment irony and earnestness.” His poetry was also translated into Italian, and it appeared in Poesia magazine which has a high circulation in both Italy and France. His poems have appeared in Best of Chicago Poetry, Online! the
Chicago Poetry Renaissance, Café Review, Rambunctious Review, Polvo, The American Dissident,
Dissent, Struggle: The Journal of Revolutionary Literature, Mind in Motion, Alphabeat Press, Alternative
Press, Poems of the World, Kilter, Religious Humanism, The World Salad Anthology, and The Anti
Mensch as well as the Highland Park Poetry website.
Vittorio Carli’s first poetry book, A Passion for Apathy was published by Press of the 3rd Mind in 2012.
His second book Tube Worm Salad with Olive Oil for Extra Flavor came out in 2018.
