This story begins with Kirsteene Phelan throwing it all on the line. After she witnesses Rome2rio's CEO, Rod Cuthbert, meeting with a PR firm in their shared office space, she saunters over and tells him to ditch the PR firm and hire her instead! This moment marks the beginning of Kirsteene's career in the travel industry.
Kirsteene and Rod begin working together at Rome2rio, and as the years go by they develop a wonderful friendship. They travel to industry conferences together, and Rod helps elevate Kirsteene's career in the travel industry by inviting her on conference panels and by opening new doors for her.
And yes, the travel industry is a lot of hard work. But the duo do get up to some shenanigans along the way. And one particular prank they play at an industry conference leads to an interesting outcome …
