Gary Saarenvirta is the founder and CEO of Daisy Intelligence, a Canadian based startup looking to become the biggest artificial intelligence company in the world. They use AI to help retail businesses to analyze all their data and make better promotional and pricing decisions and insurance companies to quickly and accurately discover fraud and manage risk. Recently they raised $10 Million CAD in a series A funding to keep growing their company and develop new features to their software.

Daisy Intelligence uses a branch of AI called reinforcement learning and their patent-pending Theory of Retail™ to be truly different in the marketplace and on the cutting edge of the category management revolution. Their unique approach is the first of its kind in the marketplace and will significantly help businesses grow in the competitive retail landscape.

Gary Saarenvirta is the former head of IBM Canada’s data mining and data warehouse practices, he’s very passionate about AI and its ability to transform how retailers grow their businesses and establish an edge in an increasingly challenging and competitive environment.
