“_Revolver_” è senza alcun dubbio l’album della svolta nella storia dei Beatles. I “Fab Four” arrivano, nel 1966, a una consapevolezza delle loro capacità che fino ad allora non avevano avuto. Abbandonano i concerti dal vivo, l’intrattenimento e puntano dritti al cuore della musica, scegliendo lo studio di registrazione come “tempio” sonoro principale. Il risultato è un album straordinariamente ricco, vario, sorprendente, che ancora oggi, ben quarantasette anni dopo la sua realizzazione, colpisce per la sua modernità, l’emozione, l’invenzione. Ernesto Assante e Gino Castaldo ci accompagneranno alla scoperta di questo capolavoro del 1966 che ha, per molti versi, cambiato il corso della musica popolare e del rock.
