The prison system is ever-evolving and the roles of prison staff and inmates are continually modernising. With the introduction of new initiatives such as rehab-based programs, meaningful activities, and effective communication, we are seeing positive changes in the day-to-day of prison life. We’ve started to go beyond the traditional roles of guards and inmates and are now seeing roles such as peer mediators, teachers, and counselors. In this episode we talk about prison roles on the right side of the bars.
