As summer begins we are beginning to feel restless as we look forward to rest. Many of us feel tired, rundown and exhausted from the craziness of our life and the unrest in our world that creates unerst in us. We find ourselves longing for rest, longing to stop, longing for peace, longing to just enjoy life. The good news is, God wants those things for us too, but He doesn’t want them just one season a year, he made us to experience those things one day every week. God’s plan to give us rest in a restless world is a spiritual disciple called: The Sabbath. What does this ancient discipline have to do with calming our souls, quieting our hearts, and remaking us into the people we long to be? Join us over the next four weeks as we find out how we were made for rest in a restless world.
