John 13:34-35 A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
Jesus replaced the entirety of the Old Covenant Laws with the “Law of Love”. It’s the Law that as Believers we follow above all else. Romans 5:5 tells us that the love of God has been shed abroad in our heart. One translation says “God’s love was poured into your hearts by the Holy Spirit”. The day you get saved, God’s love is put inside of you. This is important to know, because it means we do have the ability to love every person, especially other believers.
