Experiencing broken trust can leave us wary and sceptical, impacting relationships. This can lead to "betrayal trauma," causing symptoms similar to PTSD, such as hypervigilance and emotional numbing.

In this episode, I share my experience and seek to help you overcome distrust, embrace mindfulness and impermanence to stay present and process emotions without judgment. I talk through my own experience of self-compassion, self-kindness and having a common humanity which are crucial for healing.

We can rebuild trust by acknowledging pain, setting boundaries, taking gradual steps, seeking professional help, fostering supportive relationships, and practicing forgiveness. In doing so, trust becomes a resilient and enduring force in our lives.
