Let’s dive into the three big ones:

Being Your Own Boss (Agency), Knowing Who You Are (Integrated Identity), and Having a Bunch of Cool Skills (Competencies).

What’s Being Your Own Boss (Agency)?

First up, being your own boss, or Agency, is all about knowing you can change things around you and make decisions that matter. It’s like being the captain of your ship, deciding where to go and what to do. It means setting goals, like finishing a big project or saving up for something special, and not giving up until you get there. It also means being brave enough to stand up for what you need and want, and taking responsibility when things don’t go as planned.

Knowing Who You Are (Integrated Identity)

Next, we talked about how important it is to know who you are, which is your Integrated Identity. It’s all about understanding what you believe in, what’s important to you, and what you want to do in the world. When you know who you are, making decisions gets easier because you can ask yourself, “Does this fit with what I believe and who I want to be?”

Having a Bunch of Cool Skills (Competencies)

The last big skill set we covered is having a bunch of cool skills, or Competencies. This isn’t just about being good at math or knowing how to write. It’s also about understanding your feelings and getting along with others, plus knowing how to handle real-life stuff that comes your way. We talked about how learning different things can help you do great in the future, no matter what you decide to do.

Learning in Your Own Way

We also chatted about how learning isn’t the same for everyone. Some people learn best by doing things their own way, especially when it comes to what they’re really interested in. If you’re learning at home or in a way that’s different from regular school, it’s all about making sure what you’re learning fits what you’re good at and what you like.

Getting Ready for What’s Next

The world is changing super fast, especially with all the new tech stuff happening. That’s why it’s super important to be ready for whatever comes next. Knowing about the latest gadgets and how the world works can help make sure you’re ready for all the awesome opportunities that are coming.
