Edward and Avalon are about exploring LIFE and one of our mantras is "Act Local"

There are so many ways you can give back to your community: volunteering time, giving away old clothes or supplies, using your skills to teach a group or individual. Look for organizations or groups that you know help directly that are not-for-profit.

Maybe you already do this or have done this in the past. Encourage the next generation, from your experience, to contribute in the neighborhood. They will be able to see from their own actions, what it is like to progress and be part of the change for the better.
