Jacob Hollister discusses challenges of not getting a scholarship after winning a high school state championship his senior year, being told while playing at a community college that he was too small for Division 1 football, fighting through injuries in the NFL, and more. His no quit mindset is sure to encourage you in chasing after your life's passions and dreams despite your adversity.

Who is Jacob Hollister?

Jacob Hollister has been an NFL tight end for the past six seasons. After graduating from the University of Wyoming, where he was a primary target for quarterback Josh Allen, he was signed by the Patriots, where he played for two years, reaching the super bowl both times and winning a super bowl ring. He then played two years with the Seattle Seahawks, where he caught many touchdowns passes from quarterback Russell Wilson, followed by a year with the Jaguars and this most recent season with the Raiders.

Hollister is driven by his faith and the “no quit” mentality that God has instilled in both his twin brother, an NFL receiver, and him from a young age, and prefers to lead by example to earn the respect of those around him.

Outside of football, he enjoys anything outdoors, along with playing guitar and writing songs, and has a passion for helping people be better in all aspects of life. His ultimate desire, and what inspires him most, is to be a great man in the eyes of his Lord Jesus Christ.

Besides having an amazing twin brother, Hollister also has three beautiful sisters.
