It was a battling performance against champions Portsmouth, but in the end it was not enough as City fell agonisingly short of the play-off positions.

But it was another display to be proud of in of season which has brought many.

Head coach Michael Skubala was gutted after the match, but could take pride in the way his side have performed since the turn of the year.

And midfielder Ethan Erhahon picked up the Vic Withers Trophy as the supporters' player of the year. He was able to reflect on an impressive season and something to build on in the future.
