In this episode, Dr. Jesse Schold of the Cleveland Clinic talks about quality metrics and their proliferation in many contexts within donation and transplantation. Dr. Schold helps our listeners understand how the population we serve is uniquely suited to explore quality measures and metrics that are most important for patient outcomes.
At the end of this episode, listeners will be able to better understand how the transplant community, organ procurement organizations, dialysis centers, payers, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the OPTN/UNOS and professional organizations like the American Society of Transplantation are working together towards patient-centered solutions.
