"Listen to the Land" host Colton Creel travels to Pelham, Georgia, with Molly McKettrick to interview Anfernee McDonald, a student starting his own farm. McDonald entered farming after leaving the Marines, when he realized he wasn't the husband and father that he wanted to be. Now deeply religious, McDonald discovered that growing his own food to feed his family was one way he could connect with the natural world the Lord gave him. A horticulture student at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College, McDonald found a new purpose in farming his 1.5-acre plot and raising chickens.
