This week we talked to northeast folk-rock artist, Arlo Matthews. He has slowly been building shelves, but still can't seem to fit all the vintage cassette tapes his friends' grandparents have sent him. His music taste inspires his writing, taking pieces from many artists of the 70s and 80s. The writing process of his debut record ‘Waiting for Daybreak’ started in 2019 and is thematically a bit sadder than his most recent single release What Couldn’t We Do, a summertime jam. He’s currently working with several bands, experimenting with his sound, and developing his writing to release more in the future. Find more from him @
