Has Adversity Been Your Master Or Your Teacher? This might very well be one of the most important questions in life. Overcoming adversity requires a specific kind of mindset. It's a way of thinking that rises above willpower. When adversity is viewed as a teacher, suffering becomes learning. Suffering serves a purpose. Which leads to wisdom. Wisdom is knowing what is right and true. Which requires a certain sobriety of perspective. The ability to see things as they are, not as we would like them to be. Truth. We learn to walk in the truth. It is from that light, the light of truth, the light of having overcome, that we grow. That's how we transcend our circumstances, no matter how dark they may be. We dig deep. We grow wise. Such is the natural order of things. Adversity introduces a man to himself. -Albert Einstein Penny for your thoughts? I get it. You're busy. You got a ton going on.
