Are human rights an umbrella, and are transgender or any other group’s rights secondary or subordinate? Is it necessary or even moral to elevate one group’s rights over human rights? And should all rights be of equal priority? What if there is conflict? What methodology do we use to determine what rights have priority? And, does the science of biology and evolution lead our decisions, or do we put more of an emphasis on opinions, feelings, and faith?
