Welcome to Living Hope Church in Williamsburg, VA. At the beginning of the sermon, we were having some technical difficulties.
General synopsis of Pastor Jessica's statement at the beginning. The reason we march at the state level is because the battle for life is not yet over. While on the federal level, abortion protection shifted to the states. We are at a time now that abortion is becoming more and more prevalent because of the morning pill. You can purchase the morning pill at any CVS or Walgreens as well as many others without a prescription. This causes the mom to have an abortion earlier on in the pregnancy than ever before. We still need to fight for the lives of our children.
Join us this week as Pastor Bill Francavilla and his wife, Pastor Jessica emphasize the importance of spiritual family and church community. They discuss abortion as sin and how the church can support the unborn. We view the biological family as a God-given institution, but stress that the spiritual family of believers is even stronger. Drawing from examples in Acts, they call the church to devote themselves to fellowship, sharing possessions, caring for the needy, and living in unity like the early Christians did. Church members are all part of the body of Christ with different gifts that should be recognized and honored. The sermon stresses submitting to church leadership and resolving conflicts to maintain unity, as Christ is the true head that the church should conform to.
