On this episode, we welcome Activist Jen Abreu. Jen is a Political Science + Sociology Major at UCSD. She's actively supporting incarcerated men in Calipatria State Prison in a program called Alternatives to Violence Program (also known as AVP) She describes how she got started, how COVID-19 has affected her program & the incarcerated men she helps & her new project with the Famous Suge Knight. She also mentions how she works along side Lester Galdamez (our own Princess Abby's Brother) & what her experience has been like working with him.
