Join us as we travel to Braselton, Georgia the home of the American Junior Golf Association.
The American Junior Golf Association or AJGA for short, is considered by many leaders in the golf industry to be the premier junior golf association in the world. With alumni such as Jordan Spieth, Tiger Woods, Paula Creamer, Stacy Lewis, and the list goes on, who could disagree?
The AJGA is a great organization and what I absolutely love about them is their stellar internship program. This is an opportunity to work with some of the best and brightest in the golf industry while traveling the country putting on junior golf tournaments. You know we love the chance to mix sport and travel and most likely you do too.
The AJGA internship is by far one of the best opportunities we have come across for young professionals in sport. It provides a fantastic growth experience with real world responsibility and ownership of tasks that directly lead to the success of their events.
Learn more about the American Junior Golf Association as we talk with two outstanding females in the sport industry, Lauren Shelly, the Director of Training and Development, and Blair Sumner the Director of Recruiting. Their passion for not only developing young golfers but also young sport professionals is evident during this episode so tune in to hear useful tips that could just lead you to your next gig in the industry.
