Firstly, Dan apologies for the vulgarness of his birds. They're very opinionated and try to cut into the conversation. They have been chirped out as best as possible.

Now, let me introduce Dan Gindlesperger, author of the Demon Secret. Dan is a huge horror fan following in the footsteps of Clive Baker. To which Dan thinks is the best horror writer out there. Better than Stephen King in his opinion.

"Clive Baker makes horror what it should be, disturbing." - Dan G

When getting to know each other we found out that Dan and I are huge fans of Craig Alanson and RC Bray. Unbeknownst to us at the time, we are apart of the same Facebook fan groups for Craig Alanson and his Exforce Series.

"When you have Craig Alanson working with RC Bray, it's magical!" - Dan G

"RC Bray is one of my inspirations for narrating audiobooks." - Tim D

Dan also believes that anyone and everyone should be able to read his work. Dan also provides his work at low cost so that people can enjoy his work. Just because I had connected and loved the Demon Secret, Dan sent me a copy of the book so I could keep reading it. That just goes to show how much Dan cares about other people and his work at the same time.

"I think my teenage daughters should be able to read what I write." - Dan G

Dan also went through a toxic and traumatic childhood. It wasn't until Dan was sent to a therapist for an unrelated reason that things started to change for him. Originally sent to talk about pain management, ended up being the start of breaking the trauma that bound to him. Growing up in the era of men don't talk about problems or show emotion also played a huge factor in his recovery. Until Dan went through a session himself, he couldn't understand why grown men were coming out blubbering. A week later, he was that man.

"I cried because I was understanding the pain I went through that I kept in my subconscious; that I always hid away." - Dan G

Dan is an amazing, humble, and now a well rounded individual. Dan is also too kind with his words of positive praise towards me and the work I do, and the Podcast itself.

"As I said when we first started this, what you're doing is important. There isn't enough of it!" - Dan G

For more information on Dan, find him on Facebook, Amazon, his website, and soon enough Audible for a wonderfully narrated version of the Demon Secret.
