In this very special episode of "Living Well Together with Dr. Terry and Lisa," they are delighted to be joined by their daughter, Grace Keeton, the owner and operator of Nova Equine Renovation. Grace, who is also the wife of LWT producer, Graham Keeton, brings over 20 years of horsemanship experience to the table, along with a deep passion for improving the well-being of horses.
Grace's journey in equine training and wellness is unique and untraditional. Her heart has always been with the unloved and unlovable horses, and she has dedicated her career to combining effective healing systems with her extensive horsemanship knowledge. In her words, "As I began to grow my horse training business, I found myself getting distracted by the things I'd feel within the horses that I couldn't quite place--restrictions, imbalances and various braces. It was when I stopped trying to ignore those things or just 'push the horse through it', and instead learned how to identify and release them, that the game changed for me. More importantly, it changed for the horses, too."
Grace shares with them her insights on how the 'problems' horses exhibit are often just as frustrating for the animals as they are for their human counterparts. By addressing the energetic and emotional components that manifest physically, these problems can significantly improve and even disappear. Her commitment to giving misunderstood horses a voice and using specialized modalities to facilitate harmony is truly inspiring.
Tune in for an episode filled with heartfelt stories, profound insights, and a deep love for horses. Whether you're a horse enthusiast or simply interested in holistic wellness, this conversation with Grace Keeton is one you won't want to miss.
