About Stephanie:

As a lifelong educator, Stephanie has spent most of her 30-year teaching career in public education. She has been a case manager for special education students, co-taught math and English classes, and taught reading classes. During the last four years prior to her current position, she coordinated a transition program in the high school she taught in. In this position, she had her students volunteering, participating in internships, and running several different community activities (monthly dances and movies at a local theater). As the Project SEARCH coordinator and instructor, she works with the host business, Concord Hospital, to create internships develop and opportunities to learn employability skills.

Besides her passion for supporting individuals with disabilities, she enjoys spending time on the Maine coast with the hope of retiring there. She also enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time in nature.
