For our first special episode of "Local Vibes," hosts Mark Kemp and Ryan Pitkin filled up the studio with Charlotte musicians following Creative Loafing's publication of an article that confronts a disturbing, racially charged image posted on Facebook two years ago by the frontman of a popular local band. The discussion that followed on FB about that incident, as well as other recent racially charged events across the country, convinced us this was a conversation worth having, and we hope it continues around the Queen City.
