During Big Ten Media Days in Indianapolis Ohio State Football coach Ryan Day acknowledged he is under immense pressure going into the 2024 college football season. He is also delegating a lot of responsibility to Chip Kelly, his new offensive coordinator. He says he trusts him with his life…and his high powered offense. Being the head coach of the Ohio State football team has become such a big job that Day delegated his offensive duties to Kelly.

TRUST WITH HIS LIFE

There is a lot of trust between Ryan Day and Chip Kelly. The two go back to Kelly and his head coaching gigs with the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers. Day was on his staffs back then.

Now the rolls are reversed with Kelly gladly working for Day. Kelly will have a ton of weapons for the 2024 college football season. But Day admits last year's weakness, the offensive line, will dictate this year's success.

PRESSURE PACKED IN COLUMBUS

The pressure is on Day to win against TTUN, win the Big Ten Championship and win the College Football National Championship. That is all, right? He knows the deal and embraces the pressure.
