Ohio State has a new school president and, as of this week, a new athletic director in Ross Bjork. That is a lot of change at a school that just saw A.D. Gene Smith retire after 19 glorious years at the helm of one of the most successful athletic departments and college football programs in the country.

Gene Smith hired Ryan Day to replace Urban Meyer as the Ohio State Football coach. Ross Bjork, while at Texas A&M, just fired football coach Jimbo Fisher despite the fact that the school still owed him more than 75 million dollars. He is now fully in charge of the Buckeyes athletic department. And new guys in big jobs like to make big changes!

That alone should make Ryan Day uneasy should he lose to TTUN for a 4th straight year. It would be unfair. Ryan Day is a winning football coach and his 2024 team has a real shot at a national championship. But if he falls short of some very lofty expectations then look out!
