The Toronto Blue Jays have won their second series in a row on this road trip, beating the San Francisco Giants 5-3 in the third game of the series. Kevin Gausman looked like prime Gausman in this game, eating up seven innings while only giving up 2 earned runs. He threw a ton of fastballs today, which seemed to keep Giants hitters off-balance. Spencer Horwitz and George Springer continue to be hot at the plate, as they started the first inning rally, with Spencer Horwitz adding a long solo home run in the fifth inning. Some big news came out today about Kevin Kiermaier as he was placed on revocable waivers. As we all know, Kevin Kiermaier has struggled immensely at the plate this season, which has not helped this Toronto Blue Jays offense that has struggled to produce runs.
