Locked On College Basketball

The inaugural Players Era Festival (the NIL-backed MTE which will take place during Thanksgiving week in Las Vegas) has finally released all the details. We already knew most things, but didn’t have specifics or concrete locked-in information on most things. The event will take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday of Thanksgiving week with eight teams playing a round-robin format against the other three teams in their pod. The Impact MTE includes Alabama, Houston, Notre Dame, and Rutgers while the Power MTE has Creighton, Oregon, San Diego State, and Texas A&M.

Gonzaga will be without Steele Venters due to injury…for the second straight season. On the other coast, North Carolina will be without reserve sophomore forward Zayden High this season.
