Some interesting news of late for the Lakers ahead of the third game of a thus-far undefeated road trip. First, D'Angelo Russell told Hoopshype that he'd like to remain a Laker if possible, but also implied that he'll be weighing his options this offseason, including his contract player option. The season began with everyone assuming D'Lo would be traded before the deadline. Instead, he's having arguably the best season of his career. He's always been a polarizing player, but has the performance shifted perceptions? Where could he potentially go?
Also, Shams Charania reported that Gabe Vincent could be available for action soon, maybe even Sunday in Brooklyn. Obviously, there have been reports of Vincent's imminent return, only to prove premature. But Vincent has actually been ramping up of late.
