Tim Anderson singled in Jake Burger with the winning run in the bottom of the tenth inning, leading the Miami Marlins past the Seattle Mariners 3-2 in the opening game of this weekend series at Loan Depot Park in Miami.

Bryan De La Cruz and Josh Bell hit back-to-back home runs for the Marlins. DLC had a three-hit night.

The Marlins bullpen was great again, tossing scoreless innings in back of Trevor Rogers, who gave up two runs in 6 1/3 innings, striking out five and walking one.

George Kirby tossed 7+ innings for Seattle, allowing two runs on five hits, while Ryan Bliss went 3-3 with a RBI to lead the M's offense.

The two teams play the middle game of this three-game series tomorrow. Jesus Luzardo was scheduled to pitch for Miami, but he has been scratched because of back soreness.
