Arguably the best wide receiver in the NFL, Justin Jefferson is still without a long-term deal. While it's reported that he and the Minnesota Vikings are working tirelessly to get a deal done that will keep Jefferson in Minnesota for many years to come, the deal isn't done yet. Rumor mills were swirling after Jefferson was seen in the vicinity of the New York Jets practice facility earlier in the week. Fun fodder at most probably, it just begs the question: what's taking so long to get the deal done? Plus, it's holdout season in the NFL and the Dallas Cowboys seem to have many decisions to make with their three stars including CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons, neither of whom have gotten their big money deals yet. Finally, with the wide receiver position becoming more and more expensive for top-tier wideouts, will teams have to adapt their salary cap algorithm to account for potentially $30+ million/yr contracts for their star receivers?
