We start with the Nashville Predators, who made major moves in the offseason and as a result will mean much higher stakes for the Predators this year. Seth and JD also discuss the Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights, who continue to face mounting cap restraints which make filling out their roster difficult beyond their top level players. Seth and JD also discuss the Edmonton Oilers and the mounting pressure they face with Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid nearing the end of their contracts. Seth and JD also discuss the Los Angeles Kings, specifically GM Rob Blake and the mounting pressure he is facing with a Kings team that has been more of a wildcard team then a legitimate contender. They finish by discussing the Minnesota Wild, and the mounting pressure they will be facing with Kirill Kaprizov nearing the end of his contract as well.
