The Philadelphia Phillies came back to beat the Colorado Rockies 8-4 Saturday night thanks to a gutsy performance by Aaron Nola and clutch offense from Garrett Stubbs, Bryce Harper and Edmundo Sosa!

Aaron Nola used 103 pitches to get through 6 tough innings and didn’t record a 1-2-3 inning until the 5th. He picks up a quality start, but gets no decision. He was on the receiving end of some bad luck, after a Brandon Marsh error in left field let to a run scoring in the 3rd inning.

Garrett Stubbs helped get the Phillies on the comeback trail with a leadoff single in the fifth inning then stole third with one out and was later brought home on a Kyle Schwarber RBI SAC fly to center field to make it a 3-2 game.

Then in the top of the 9th with the Phillies still trailing 3-2, Brandon Marsh worked a leadoff walk. Edmundo Sosa plated Marsh with an RBI triple to tie the game at 3! Then Garrett Stubbs brought Sosa home with an RBI single to put the Phillies in front for good.

Bryce Harper added a 3-run homer followed by a Nick Castellanos RBI single.
