Detroit Tigers secured a road victory against the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park with a final score of 6-2. Tarik Skubal delivered an outstanding performance on the mound, pitching seven innings and allowing just two runs while striking out nine. Parker Meadows made the catch of the year in center field robbing a home run from Cal Raleigh. The Tigers took the lead early with a solo home run by Wenceel Perez in the first inning. Jake Rogers added to the scoring with a solo shot in the fourth. Matt Vierling led the offense with three hits, including an RBI single in the ninth that extended the lead. Gio Urshela also contributed with a clutch two-RBI single in the ninth inning. Detroit's bullpen held strong, with Jason Foley pitching a scoreless inning in relief to secure the win.
