Reports from the New York Post's Jon Heyman, the Athletic's Ken Rosenthal, and ESPN's Jesse Rogers outline why the Chicago White Sox might keep ace pitcher Garrett Crochet. All three are reporting Crochet's desire for a contract extension. Plus, the Seattle Mariners traded for a different slugger so that might be one less trade partner for Luis Robert Jr. Finally, Heyman reports the Sox have a high asking price for pitcher Erick Fedde.

Host Todd Welter discusses on how Crochet's contract extension demand and not wanting to move to the bullpen for a contender acquiring him might just keep him on the White Sox past the trade deadline. The Tampa Bay Rays trading Randy Arozarena to the Seattle Mariners might also cross of a potential ideal trade partner for LRJ. However, MLB.com says the Mariners might not be done dealing.

Todd discusses why the Sox having a high asking price for Fedde, while understandable, might hurt the team's rebuild.

Todd then discusses former Sox ace pitcher Dylan Cease throwing a no-hitter and if he was still in Chicago, he would not make much of a difference on the current sad state of affairs regarding the Sox. Finally, Todd wraps up the show discussing Eloy Jimenez' lack of effort yesterday costing the Sox a possible rare win.
