The Chicago White Sox fall to the Cubs then say goodbye to Lucas Giolito and Reynaldo Lopez. The Sox lost their second game in a row to the Cubs and their fifth game overall. Sox had a 7-2 lead after four innings, then the Cubs put up a six spot in the top of the fifth. Lance Lynn went 4+ innings and gave up seven earned runs. Joe Kelly issued two walks and a wild pitch during his one inning of work. Eloy Jimenez had a four RBI night and Jake Burger hit a home run. After the game, the Sox traded Lucas Giolito and Reynaldo Lopez to the Los Angeles Angels. After acquiring both pitchers from the Washington Nationals in December of 2016, they are both on the move together again. What's next for the Sox? Rumors have Lance Lynn being the next pitcher to go and Joe Kelly might be a close second. Sox open up a four game series against the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday.
