Did the Wild get it right with their 2000, 2001 and 2002 Draft Picks?

On today's episode of Locked on Wild, Isha Jahromi of the Sota Pod joins as we look back at the 2000, 2001 and 2002 NHL Drafts. We start with the inaugural draft in Minnesota Wild history and quickly come to the conclusion that the Wild did as well as they could have at least in the first two rounds with Marian Gaborik and Nick Schultz, who both had long NHL careers. We also draw the same conclusion about the first round of 2001. Mikko Koivu fit the bill for what the Wild were looking for. Whether or not he was a true 1C is another topic, but beyond that the 2001 draft only added Derek Boogaard as the other notable pick from that draft. Pierre-Marc Bouchard was a solid player but the Wild had a couple of opportunities to upgrade on that selection!
