But that led to an interesting note from him about the defense being 'positionless.' We use that to look back at the evolution of the Michigan defense since Mike Macdonald took over, what having a 'positionless defense' means, how it may be deployed, and in the most basic terms, how that could be a huge boon for the Wolverines.
