The New York Yankees lost Game 1 of the Subway Series, 9-7 on Tuesday night. It was a bad game for most of the night until the Yankees finally decided to wake up and score some runs, but it was too little too late. Gerrit Cole had a rough night and didn’t strike anyone out for the first time since 5/20/16. He walked four and gave up four home runs. To say it was an off night would be an understatement. After discussing the game, Brian discusses a trade idea he read about and states his case as to why the Yankees should do it if they can. They have holes to fill, and this trade fills two of them. And finally Brian and Stacey preview Game 2 of the Subway Series between Sean Manaea and Luis Gil.
