Starting season 3 off strong talking about the amazing local camp London Girls Rock Camp. London Girls Rock Camp is focused on empowerment, confidence building, friendship-making, and most importantly: music-loving. London Girls Rock Camp is lead by a team of female musicians and industry contributors and brings programming to campers aged 8-15 who self-identify as female, trans, and gender non-conforming.
In this episode, we talk about how the camp got started, what the day-to-day looks like for the campers, how it is possible to go from no experience to a full band playing an original song in a week, the changes they have had to make to go virtual over COVID, the final show and much more!
