a song parody video of the 1964 song,"Ringo" by Lorne Greene, this tells the tale of the downfall of televangelist Jimmy Swaggart, caught with a prostitute in a cheap motel in 1988.
Uploaded to youtube in 2007, Swaggart's law firm in 2009 issued a cease & desist letter to Bruce and his employer, Sun Microsystems (Bruce was Assistant General Counsel at the time), and ordered youtube.com to take down the video (which it did). The Electronic Frontier Foundation took the case for Bruce, Swaggart backed off and the video was restored on youtube. Here is that video from 1988, orginally produced and shown in affiliation with a San Francisco nationally affiliated tv station as the story broke.
Loose Bruce Kerr is an irregular feature on the Dr. Demento and Jim Bohannon nationally syndicated internet streams & radio shows. Having resumed his legal career after a 20 year span performing (opening for "Weird Al" Yankovic back in the day), Bruce is now an attorney working at Oracle in Silicon Valley, living in northern California, and contining to record his original and parody songs & videos in his garage studio, "THE GARAGE."
